Since joining HRA in 2014, Sara Davis has served as field director for numerous Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III archaeological projects in Oregon and Washington. She is experienced in large-scale projects such as pipelines, wind farms, transmission lines, and hydroelectric projects. She has successfully obtained archaeological excavation permits from the states of Oregon and Washington and Archaeological Resources Protection Act permits for work on federal lands in Oregon and Washington; and has developed research designs to evaluate archaeological sites for National Register of Historic Places eligibility. In addition, Sara has written historic property treatment plans, archaeological data recovery plans, and memorandums of agreement. Sara also has over 15 years of experience in cultural resources management in the Pacific Northwest and has prepared numerous archaeological investigation reports, inadvertent discovery plans, and monitoring plans. Sara has presented the results of her research at national and regional archaeological conferences and published her research.
