Archaeologist – Missoula Office

​Maggie Luthin is an archaeologist in the Missoula office. Since joining HRA in 2023, Maggie has worked on a diverse array of projects throughout Montana, Idaho, and other western states. Her work has included conducting archaeological pedestrian survey and shovel testing in the field, curating and cataloging artifact collections, coordinating Tribal review for federal clients, and contributing to research and reporting efforts for a variety of projects. Prior to joining HRA, Maggie conducted laboratory and curatorial work in the eastern United States, as well as excavation and research in Montana. She has published and presented her academic research for local and national audiences. Maggie enjoys traveling and can be found playing music, gardening, or hiking with her dog during her spare time.
