ARCHITECTURAL HISTORIAN – SEATTLE OFFICE

Lauren Waldroop has seven years of experience in the historic preservation field. She joined HRA in 2020 after working previously for a CRM firm in Central and South Florida. She has experience working on a variety of projects, including cultural resources surveys, historic resources inventories, Historic American Engineering Record (HAER) documentation packages, and environmental impact statements (EIS). Lauren has experience leading field crews for large and small survey projects, large-format photography for HAER packages, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, archival work, research, writing, and editing. Her special interests are in historic resources survey, intangible cultural heritage, and adaptive reuse of historic buildings.

Lauren’s hobbies include cross-stitching, fiction writing, reading, and taking care of her cats.
