Since joining HRA in 2000, Catherin Bialas has been the field director for large-scale survey projects, supervised field crews, performed laboratory analysis and curation of archaeological collections, recorded and evaluated historic and precontact sites, monitored ground-disturbing activities at soil remediation projects, and assisted in the preparation of Historic Property Management Plans. Catherin has experience in cultural resources management in Oregon, Washington, California, Utah, Montana, and Hawaii. She has authored and contributed to numerous technical reports for cultural resources inventories located in Oregon, Washington, California, and Utah. Her Master’s thesis concentrated on the analysis of cultural material from an 11,000-year-old archaeological site along the Rogue River in Southwestern Oregon. She is responsible for the management, supervision, and implementation of numerous cultural resources projects.
