SOUTH PARK BRIDGE REPLACEMENT

HRA conducted architectural and archaeological investigations for the proposed replacement of the South Park Bridge in King County, Washington. The work was completed for King County and included a series of identification, evaluation, and mitigation of adverse effects efforts to support the bridge replacement effort. These included archaeological survey of the footprint, evaluation of the bridge for the National Register of Historic Places, evaluation and data recovery of a shell midden site within the area of potential effects, design consultation for the new bridge, and mitigation for effects to a section of the Red Brick Road.
