Archaeologist – Portland Office

Chandler Burchfield is an archaeologist in HRA’s Portland office. He has an MA in Applied Anthropology and 10 years of archaeological experience, which includes six years of supervisory roles in all phases of archaeological research. His experience includes field investigation and laboratory analysis of precontact and historic-period archaeological resources in the Southeastern United States with a special interest in precontact mounds. His specialties include archaeological excavation, cultural resources management, and resource preservation.
