Gabe Frazier is an Archaeologist and HRA’s GIS Specialist. He joined HRA full time in 2013 and spends the majority of his time organizing and implementing project GIS research and managing field data collection solutions and GIS/GPS technical support. When asked about his favorite project memory, he said: “When I first started with HRA as a field crew member, I walked over 100 miles across North Dakota for a pipeline project. Along with great archaeology, I met some great people both in HRA and locals in rural ND towns. We almost experienced a tornado in a metal garage/bunkhouse, sweltered in high heats across the plains wearing a hard hat and steel-toed boots, and survived small town dynamics and bad breakfasts. It was my first introduction to a large pipeline project where I learned and experienced how important field data collection and GIS are to CRM.”
