Amalia Baldwin is a Historian in our Boise, Idaho office. She joined HRA in 2023 when SHRA became a part of our company. The thing she likes best about working at HRA is “having people to bounce ideas off of, to learn from, and to share my knowledge with. It makes me so happy to be able to call, text, or email my fellow historians for advice while I am deep in the weeds of a project and know that they speak my language. I usually don’t have to give much context. I can just ask, for example, ‘So how would you drill deeper on a cancelled patent file if the regional branch national archives doesn’t have anything on it?’ I feel that everyone is a team player and will step in to help when someone gets overly busy or needs to reduce a workload.”
