Cascade AIDS Project Exhibit
HRA partnered with Cascade AIDS Project (CAP), the oldest and largest provider of HIV services, housing, education, and advocacy in Oregon, as well as Our House of Portland, to develop an exhibit for display in the Mezzanine Gallery of the Oregon Historical Society in downtown Portland. HRA developed an exhibit that examines the history of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Oregon, through the lens of two organizations. The exhibit drew from the archival collections of these organizations, including research materials, visuals, and material collection, which are now housed at the Oregon Historical Society Research Library. The exhibit included a compelling narrative, guided by first-person accounts. It was on display at the Oregon Historical Society in 2022.
