Cultural Resources Management
HRA provides a full range of cultural resources management (CRM) services for transportation, military, and energy clients; federal, state, and local government agencies; Tribes; non-profit and educational entities; and commercial and residential developers. We help our clients comply with the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA; Section 106), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), state environmental laws regarding historic properties (State Environmental Policy Acts [SEPA], etc.), and local ordinances. Our archaeologists and historic preservation specialists, who meet or exceed the Secretary of the Interior’s Professional Qualifications Standards in their respective fields, have extensive experience supporting all phases of regulatory review, from alternatives analysis through project design and mitigation measures. HRA’s expert staff complete research, conduct field and laboratory work, analyze data, prepare technical reports, conduct monitoring, and draft and execute planning and agreement documents. We support our clients in meeting legal compliance, provide guidance on best practices, and assist with coordination and communication with agencies and Tribes.
