Faith Haney is an Archaeologist and Interpretive Specialist in our Spokane, Washington office. Faith worked for HRA for about 10 years beginning in 2003 before pursuing additional education and freelance work. She returned to HRA in 2023. Faith has many fond memories of fieldwork and a pie bakeoff in which one of the participants accidentally used curry powder instead of cinnamon in their pie (sources vary as to who this was). She encourages newer colleagues at the company: “Don’t be afraid to ask questions—the HRA climate is pretty welcoming, and laws and procedures continue to become more complex (also, don’t confuse cinnamon with curry powder).”
