HANCOCK FOREST MANAGEMENT ROAD 25 RELOCATION

HRA conducted a cultural resources assessment of Hancock Forest Management’s Road 25 relocation project. The project consisted of 3 miles of road right-of-way located in the upper Puyallup River drainage close to the boundary of Mount Rainier National Park. HRA undertook background research, a pedestrian survey of the new right-of-way, data analysis, and report preparation. The results of our work were used to ensure avoidance of archaeological resources during construction of the road.
