Architectural Historian & Interpretive Specialist - Portland Office
Libby Provost was an independent public historian prior to joining HRA in 2016. She specialized in historic preservation consulting, completing numerous historic resources surveys and National Register of Historic Places nominations. Provost is also experienced in exhibit design, interpretive writing, oral history collection, archival work, and research. At HRA, Provost works for both the Cultural Resources Management Division and the History Division, and is part of HRA’s editing pool. Provost manages projects for a variety of public and private clients. She holds a Master of Arts degree in history with a public history endorsement; her background is in Western history, environmental history, and landscape history.
