Many HRA historians had known and admired Morgen Young’s work before she joined the HRA family five years ago. Having successfully run her own consulting firm, we had no doubt Morgen would thrive at HRA, but little did we know what a dynamo we had welcomed into our fold. Since joining HRA in 2016, Morgen has been instrumental in building our History Division’s interpretive services program, including work on important projects such as the Bosque Redondo Memorial and the “We are the Rose City!” exhibit documenting the history of soccer in Portland. Morgen is also a key contributor to HRA’s efforts to improve diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility both within our company and within the field of public history as a whole. Please join us in congratulating Morgen on her five-year anniversary at HRA, and here’s hoping for many more to come!
