Fifteen years ago today, Steven Dampf joined HRA as a Research Archaeologist in our Seattle office. Within a few years, family need led to a change of offices that meant moving his life hundreds of miles to Spokane, and he feared that would be the end of his tenure with HRA. But Steve was willing to make a go of establishing a new base for HRA there, operating out his basement at first. That willingness has grown to be HRA Spokane in a gradual succession of larger office spaces, the latest of which now houses a staff of four regular employees. It was a leap of faith that we are happy Steve took and an expression of trust as well, which HRA appreciates very much. We celebrate the outcome of that choice with him today. The Spokane office’s horizon is broad, long, and bright, and so is Steve’s. Thank you, Steve.
