In her two decades since joining HRA, Emily Greenwald has consistently demonstrated both her excellence and her versatility as a historian, working on a wide variety of projects that range from National Park Service administrative histories to litigation-support and expert-witness cases involving issues pertaining to contaminated site cleanups, Native land and treaty rights, navigability disputes, and contested rights-of-way. Emily has also been instrumental to HRA’s success as a company leader, becoming a shareholder in 2007 and subsequently serving as HRA’s History Division manager then as president of the company, during which time she has overseen the implementation of key initiatives including HRA’s transition to women-owned status and our ongoing efforts to improve HRA’s diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion. Throughout this process, Emily’s kindness and thoughtfulness has always shone through all her work with both colleagues and clients. Please congratulate Emily on twenty great years at HRA!
