T. Race Workman received his BA in Geoarchaeology from The College of Wooster (Wooster, Ohio) in 2010. where he specialized in limnology, dendrochronology, and climate reconstruction for archaeological sites. He received his MS in Geomorphology/Isotope Geochemistry from Miami University (Oxford, Ohio) in 2012. where he worked primarily on fluvial geomorphology and landscape reconstruction of Proto-Archaic sites in the Northern Atacama Desert, Chile. From here, Race worked as the Geoarchaeology field director for the Chicago Field Museum on Copper-Age agricultural Tell Sites in Vésztő, Hungary. At this time, he also served as the Geoarchaeology field director for Gray & Pape, Inc. (Cincinnati, Ohio), where he performed deep testing operations throughout the Midwest. Race received his PhD in Geomorphology/Geoarchaeology from Miami University (Oxford, Ohio) in 2020, specializing in hydrogeology and landscape/climate reconstructions for Proto-Archaic sites in the Northern Atacama Desert, Chile. Collectively, Race has over 14 years of experience in Geoarchaeology between academia and CRM. In his free time, Race enjoys long distance running, hiking, canoeing, spelunking, disc golf, and rock climbing.
