Ayla Aymond has 17 years of experience working in cultural resources management for both private CRM firms and federal agencies on energy, transportation, and development projects throughout the Upper Midwest, Alaska, and Washington State. Ayla has extensive experience with all phases of archaeological fieldwork and a strong working knowledge of state and federal preservation legislation. Her work has also included managing complex project logistics, conducting archival research, laboratory analyses for historic and precontact collections, and preparing technical reports. Ayla received a Master of Science (MS) in Resource Management from Central Washington University in 2015 where her research involved a zooarchaeological analysis for a precontact village site on Kodiak Island, Alaska. In her spare time, Ayla enjoys exploring the world by bicycle.
