This month, HRA opened an office in Nashville, TN, headed by Ashley Bouknight, PhD. Ashley holds a PhD in public history and a certificate in museum management. She is a recognized leader in museums, specializing in the interpretation of African American history. Nashville is the first of three new offices we are adding this summer—the others are in Albany, NY, and Albuquerque, NM (stay tuned for future posts). The new offices will help us expand HRA’s history and museum services—including interpretive planning and exhibit development—in the Southeast, Northeast, and Southwest.
