Three HRA historians will hit their fifteen-year anniversaries on June 30! We’ll talk about each of them in turn, and first up is Joshua Pollarine. Josh joined HRA as he was finishing up his MA at the University of Montana, where his thesis examined underage Americans fighting in World War II. Josh has contributed his background in military history to a variety of administrative histories for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the National Park Service. He is always willing to serve wherever he is needed, to jump into any project and jump on any airplane for another research trip. His research has covered everything from the history of wood treatment to gold mining in the Alaska backcountry to USACE projects in the Far East. Thanks for 15 years, Josh!
