The third HRA staff member reaching his fifteenth anniversary on June 30th is Senior Historian Keith Zahniser. Keith revived HRA’s Washington, DC, office in 2007, giving us a front-row seat at the National Archives, Library of Congress, and other DC-area repositories. In addition to a PhD in U.S. History from the University of California-Santa Barbara, Dr. Zahniser earned his MTS (Master of Theological Studies) in U.S. Religious History at the Harvard Divinity School. He is an expert in the history of contaminated sites and all the associated substances. He has also served as project manager and contributing author for a slew of district histories for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

If you don’t already, you should follow Keith on LinkedIn. He regularly writes helpful and thought-provoking posts about historical research, consulting, archives, and environmental litigation.

Congratulations on 15 years at HRA, Keith!
