Since 2006, HRA has contributed to archaeological and architectural studies in Yosemite National Park, including a data recovery in Yosemite Valley. HRA’s associate archaeologist revised a previous technical report and gave an interpretive presentation to the Park Archaeologists. HRA also contributed the archaeological and architectural analysis and recommendation sections for Environmental Assessments conducted for the rehabilitation of the historic Ahwahnee Hotel, Curry Village, and the Tuolumne River Plan in Yosemite National Park. HRA compiled previous information, viewed each resource in its prehistoric, contact period, and later historic contexts, and assessed the environmental consequences of proposed alternatives for each project.
