HRA manages the program for Historical Collections & Archives, a department within the Oregon Health & Science University’s library. HRA is responsible for identifying potential interview subjects, scheduling interviews, researching careers of subjects, prepping each interviewer, and facilitating the transfer of audio and video files from the university’s video producers to archives staff. Digital transcriptions are available through the university’s website, and DVDs of interviews are available in the university library. Six video interviews are recorded each year, with faculty, alumni, and staff from the Schools of Dentistry, Medicine, and Nursing, as well as from other affiliated programs. A list of past interviews, as well as digital copies of transcripts, can be accessed on the OHSU website.
