OLMSTED PARK MULTIPLE PROPERTY DOCUMENTATION

HRA completed a multiple property documentation (MPD) on the Seattle Olmsted Park System and a National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) nomination for Lake Washington Boulevard. HRA successfully navigated the complex process by which shareholder and client concerns and comments needed to be addressed in a meaningful yet cost-efficient manner to produce documents that exceeded the National Park Service’s requirements for MPDs and nominations thereunder. HRA’s client, the Washington Department of Transportation, strongly supported and ultimately commended HRA’s efforts on these two documents, which resulted in the Keeper’s acceptance of the MPD and the successful nomination of Lake Washington Boulevard as a historic district under the MPD.
