Hoopa Valley Reservation Settlement
HRA historians researched the history of the establishment and administration of the Hoopa Valley Indian Reservation in Northern California. HRA also provided expert witness services to assist the U.S. Department of Justice in three "takings" cases, each of which concerned an Indian group's claim to property interests allegedly taken by the enactment of the Hoopa Valley Settlement Act of 1988.
