Pacific Connector Natural Gas Pipeline

HRA conducted cultural resources investigations for a proposed 231-mile natural gas pipeline in southern Oregon. Tasks included a walkover survey and shovel testing of the route and associated facilities, followed by Phase II evaluation to determine the significance of identified cultural resources and potential mitigation for adverse affects that could occur to these resources.

The project traverses the territory and lands of six Native American tribes, four BLM districts, three national forests and several small state and municipal-owned tracts.

A series of reports was prepared for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Certificate application filing, and comments by all affected tribes and agencies were included. This project is ongoing.
